Homestay Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Homestay Network is mindful that sometimes people's circumstances change and they are unable to meet their travel or study obligations especially when travelling to other countries and they need to cancel their travel and study. You may cancel your homestay accommodation booking with us at anytime, however the following terms and conditions apply:

  No refund of placement fee will be made after work has begun on your request;
• 2

  The Network should be advised in writing of any changes to the requirements you may have at the time an application is lodged;
• 3

  Additional Fees may be charged for any subsequent change in requirement after an application is lodged;
• 4

  Guests who cancel within seven (7) days before arrival will be charged two (2) weeks Accommodation Fee (less any surcharge(s), if applicable;
• 5

  A full refund of Homestay Fee (less any surcharge(s), if applicable will be given if a booking is cancelled seven (7) or more days before arrival;
• 6

  Guests who do not arrive as scheduled without notice will not receive refunds;
• 7

  Guests who book Standard Homestay but stay less than four (4) weeks will not receive a refund;

Special Circumstances

In the event that a guest has to cancel for events beyond their control, guests and/or their agents are to immediately contact our office to discuss the circumstances with us.
