Homestay Network is the original and premier provider of accommodation for local, national and international students within friendly Australian family environments.
Homestay ensures that our hosts provide accommodation in their homes that are in respectable neighbourhoods allowing students to access public transport to the necessary educational institution for the guest. Whether it be TAFE, University, high school or language centre.
As a guest with a homestay family, the students welfare is Homestay Network's primary concern. Students receive help and protection within the family they are placed with, they learn about Australia and have a great opportunity to improve their English.
We know guests who choose Homestay have many exciting adventures during their stay and that they return home with fond memories of their host family, new friends and Australia!

Homestay Network Founder – Claudia Kohler: 1948 to 2001
Claudia Kohler established Homestay Network single-handedly in 1987 and it soon grew into one of the most successful Homestay organisations in Sydney. A vivacious and charismatic woman, Claudia recognised the need to offer international students the experience of Sydney whilst living as part of a family.
Many of our Homestay families knew Claudia as the face of Homestay Network and even during her years of suffering cancer Claudia continued as the Managing Director of Homestay Network with remarkable dedication. Sadly Claudia passed away in 2001, however Homestay Network has continued to provide quality host families for both short and long stay guests. Claudia built a lasting rapport with the many agents, host families and government bodies and is missed by all.
